PROPOSTA DE UMA REDE DE SENSORES PARA MONITORAR O NÍVEL DO RIO DO PEIXE EM CAÇADOR

PROPOSAL FOR A NETWORK OF SENSORS TO MONITOR THE LEVEL OF THE RIO DO PEIXE IN CAÇADOR

Resumo

Este artigo apresenta o desenvolvimento de um projeto de iniciação científica apoiado pelo Fundo de Apoio a Pesquisa (FAP), da Universidade Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (UNIARP), campus Caçador. O projeto tem como principal objetivo, realizar uma análise criteriosa a respeito da dinâmica da variação do nível do Rio do Peixe, em área pertencente ao perímetro urbano de Caçador, região meio-oeste do estado de Santa Catarina. Elegeu-se a localidade representativa com histórico de inundações, denominada no projeto de FAP1, localizado no bairro Vila Kurtz. Foi instalado um sistema de sensor remoto com três sensores de monitoramento de nível da água, obtendo-se os dados em tempo real, armazenados em banco de dados via internet. Para as análises, geraram-se gráficos, contendo os registros das variações da cota do nível do rio no período de dezoito meses. Observou-se estabilidade na variação da cota do Rio do Peixe no período analisado; espera-se dar continuidade às medições. Conclui-se que este estudo vem contribuir com iniciativas científicas correlacionadas as manifestações de fenômenos ambientais, qualidade de ambiente urbano, segurança pública, sustentabilidade, entre outros.

ABSTRACT

This article presents the development of a scientific initiation project supported by the Research Support Fund (FAP), of the Universidade Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (UNIARP), Caçador campus. The main objective of the project is to carry out a careful analysis of the dynamics of the variation in the level of the Rio do Peixe, in an area belonging to the urban perimeter of Caçador, in the midwest region of the state of Santa Catarina. The representative locality with a history of floods was chosen, called FAP1 in the project, located in the Vila Kurtz neighborhood. A remote sensor system was installed with three water level monitoring sensors, obtaining real-time data stored in a database via the Internet. For the analyses, graphs were generated, containing the records of the changes in the level of the river in the period of eighteen months. There was stability in the variation of the level of the Rio do Peixe in the analyzed period; waiting to continue the measurements. It is concluded that this study contributes to scientific initiatives related to manifestations of environmental phenomena, quality of the urban environment, public safety, sustainability, among others.
